John A. Chuback, MD
Dr. Chuback is a double board-certified General and Cardiovascular Surgeon. After completing his residency training at the internationally renowned Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Dr. Chuback spent his first 5 years in practice performing open-heart procedures in his home state of New Jersey.
After obtaining advanced post-graduate training in the contemporary management of varicose veins using laser therapy in 2005, the doctor became passionate about this exciting new specialty. This inspired him to found Chuback Medical Group, a center of excellence in venous disease. Subsequently, the doctor obtained numerous additional credentials as his expertise developed and matured. He is now a Diplomate of The American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM) and holds numerous certifications in vascular ultrasonography. These important credentials include: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
For the last 15 years, Dr. Chuback has been caring for patients with vascular disorders of all types. And, for more than 12 years, he has focused his efforts on treating problems related to the venous component of the circulatory system. He is, by any definition, a world-class expert in this specialty. Having seen thousands of patients with varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) he has come to understand the importance of a truly holistic approach to managing vein disease. This comprehensive philosophy includes interventional procedures including laser therapy, injections, and surgery when indicated. He also utilizes less invasive means of treatment like proper diet, nutrition, weight management, exercise and compression therapy.
For years, patients suffering from vein problems would ask if there was any naturally derived supplement they could take in order to help maintain their optimal vein health. It was after reviewing the scientific literature that the doctor saw a role for diosmin and hesperidin, naturally occurring substances that exist in citrus fruits. This revelation motivated Dr. Chuback to begin an exhaustive nationwide search for partners in the formulation and manufacturing of an oral supplement which would support a healthy venous system. This search has culminated in Vein Formula from BiosupportMD. Dr. Chuback is very proud of this professional achievement as he believes it is another way to assist individuals with CVI.
As a result of this process, the doctor forged an incredible partnership with two highly experienced, innovative and creative business executives. Christopher Tichio and Alexander von Summer, managing members at BiosupportMD, now work alongside Dr. Chuback so that, together, they can build a great company which best serves the public. Their collective commitment to excellence, service, product development, and quality, culminates in bringing world-class supplements to people who are looking for the very best the market has to offer.
Mr. Tichio earned his accounting degree from Siena College in New York. Since graduating, he has had a successful career as a commercial real estate broker for nearly 20 years. Mr. Tichio specializes in large commercial acquisitions and dispositions for various clients throughout the United States.
It was through one of his medical office space transactions that Mr. Tichio met Dr. John Chuback. As a result of the professional and cordial nature of their real estate transaction, Mr. Tichio alongside his business partner Alex von Summer cultivated a close and harmonious friendship with Dr. Chuback.
Some years later, Dr. Chuback shared with Chris and Alex his vision of creating a company which would better serve the needs of the many patients and clients in the community in need of dietary supplements as an adjunct to their overall healthcare. The team felt that such products would enhance the well-being of people everywhere. The men shared a common desire to serve the public, each bringing the expertise needed to transmute such an idea into reality. Hence, BiosupportMD and Vein Formula was born.
It turned out that Mr. Tichio himself had long been a proponent of the very products the company intended to produce and provide. He felt very strongly that much of what was on the market was inferior in its formulation and effectiveness. That motivated him to become personally involved in everything he could about the manufacturing and quality assurance process.
Together, through a truly collaborative approach based on hard work and exhaustive dedication to creating superior formulations, they have introduced to the marketplace an outstanding product. This supplement is meant to address the various vein problems people experience, while only using the most effective ingredients available to the consumer.
Alex Von Summer
Mr. von Summer graduated from Dartmouth College and spent two years of graduate studies in Japan before working as an analyst for a consulting firm. In the wake of his father’s unexpected passing in 1997, he worked with his father’s partners to run the family-owned commercial real estate business.
In the ensuing years, Mr. von Summer has worked closely with Christopher Tichio on hundreds of business transactions representing companies and investors across every conceivable industry type.
Mr. von Summer has worked as an advisor and investor with numerous early-stage companies to help them incubate and grow. In the wake of the 2007 financial crisis, he and Chris sought to fill a void in the market and provide real estate ownership opportunities to medical practices.
This ambitious venture made possible the friendship and working relationship with Dr. John Chuback. With over thirty-five years of combined experience, Mr. von Summer and Mr. Tichio and have been vital in helping the doctor bring the finest quality vein supplement product to the consumer. This process has been built on mutual respect shared between the three men. On a personal note, Alex understands the importance of preventive health care having twice beaten malignant melanoma. Mr. von Summer’s pride is evident when he says, “This company is about more than just creating and selling a product. This is all about helping people and serving the public. That’s why we insist that only the finest ingredients go into our products. No expense is spared in ensuring that we are manufacturing the best vein supplement available on the market today. As we produce more offerings in the future which support other organ systems, this will always remain our standard and our ethos.”
